Welcome to sendEasy. By creating an account and using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Purpose
sendEasy is a platform that lets users send money between Benin and Nigeria via Mobile Money and Nigerian banking rails, and hold a Naira balance (sendEasy wallet). sendEasy acts as a technical intermediary between the sender, the recipient, and our payment partners.
2. User account
- Eligibility: you must be at least 18 years old and reside in Benin, Nigeria, or a covered country.
- Accuracy: you agree to provide truthful information: name, number, ID document.
- Security: you are responsible for keeping your login PIN and transaction PIN confidential. Any operation carried out from your account is deemed to have been made by you.
3. Services and payments
- Payment methods: Mobile Money, your sendEasy Naira wallet balance.
- Fees: service fees and an exchange rate margin apply. They are shown before you confirm the transaction.
- Transfer: sendEasy does not guarantee immediate availability of funds. Timing depends on Mobile Money operators and partner banks.
- Cancellation / Refund: a transfer can be cancelled before it is disbursed. See our Privacy Policy for the refund procedure.
4. Transfers and recipients
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the recipient's details (name, phone number, account or bank details).
- sendEasy cannot be held liable for funds sent to the wrong recipient due to an error on your part.
- We recommend verifying the recipient's details before confirming any transfer.
5. Prohibited use
You must not use sendEasy for: money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, identity theft, or any illegal activity. sendEasy reserves the right to block any suspicious account and report it to the competent authorities.
6. Identity verification (KYC / AML-CFT)
In accordance with regulations in force in Benin and across UEMOA, sendEasy reserves the right to request an ID document and supporting evidence for any transaction exceeding 100,000 FCFA (or the Naira equivalent), as well as for any activity deemed unusual on an account.
7. Personal data and privacy
In accordance with Beninese law and GDPR, your data is used solely to process your transactions, improve the service, and comply with the law. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Liability
sendEasy does everything possible to ensure continuity of service but cannot be held liable for network outages, errors by a Mobile Money operator or partner bank, or cases of force majeure. The maximum refundable amount per transaction is limited to the amount of that transaction.
9. Anti-fraud policy
Any attempt at an abusive chargeback or a false claim will result in the permanent suspension of the account concerned.
10. Intellectual property
The name "sendEasy," the logo, and the application are the property of sendEasy. Any reproduction is prohibited.
11. Changes
We may amend these Terms and Conditions. You will be notified via the app or by email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Benin and UEMOA regulations. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing agreement, the courts of Cotonou shall have jurisdiction.
